I have over 20 years of experience within the health and fitness industry. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at UNCW in 2020; I am currently earning a second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. I'm licensed through the NC Massage Board as a LMBT (Licensed Massage Bodywork Therapist). I maintain a Professional Membership in the American Massage Therapy Association. I have extensive certifications in Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Cupping Therapy & Reflexology, and have studied massage techniques around the world.
Living a healthy lifestyle, and continuously studying up-to-date research, I truly believe in incorporating massage as part of a whole-body wellness approach to healthcare.
My focus is primarily on pain management, tension and stress relief, through a variety of modalities ~All of which affect the healing and rejuvenation of the entire body.

Swedish Therapeutic Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Prenatal Massage is very relaxing, therapeutic and nurturing for women in their second and third trimester. It combines unscented oils or lotion with an array of long, soothing and gentle strokes to help relax the stressed muscles and aches and pains associated with pregnancy. The benefits include decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, better sleep for much needed rest and assists in the natural delivery when the time arrives.

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet or hands. Unlike other hand and foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet and hands. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing method that has been used for 1000s of years as a beneficial part of eastern medicine practices. The cups use suction to pull on your skin and draw blood to and away from the affected area. The idea is to increase your body’s natural healing response in these areas. Some people experience relief of symptoms from chronic health issues such as arthritis, back pain, neck pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, gastrointestinal issues, headaches and migraines, and high blood pressure (hypertension).

Thai massage is a form of full-body massage that combines deep tissue pressure, compression, muscle and joint stretching, and gentle passive stretching into yoga-like poses. It's an ancient practice that involves the therapist using their hands, feet, and even body weight to work on the client's body, on a floor mat. The goal is to improve flexibility, release muscle tension, and enhance the flow of energy. The client is fully-clothed and flexible or loose clothing is recommended. Fisherman pants are provided if needed.
